Fat people don’t have to fit any kind of physical ideal to deserve respect. Reject the notion that fat people have to look any sort of way to deserve full respect, health care, and equal rights. As a cute fat femme myself, I think it’s very important to embrace the fact that all kinds of fat bodies are good bodies too. This includes fat masculine people and fat people of all shapes and sizes as well. Only respecting fat people who you deem attractive or “cute” isn’t respecting fat people at all.
