Galden Flow Meter

The output voltage is a square wave, which varies from 5 to 24 VDC, depending on the voltage supplied by the user.

The Proteus PS600 series sensors use the turbine principle to generate a pulsed voltage that fluctuates with the galden flow meter. When the flow turns a rotor with magnets in the opposing spokes, a voltage is produced in a Hall-Effect sensor. The user provides the output voltage, a square wave ranging from 5 to 24 VDC. To calculate the flow rate, your electronics can read a spectrum of frequencies created by this sturdy, moderately cost sensor.
